Welcome aboard "Around the world in 80 questions –GR edition"! Fasten your seatbelts and experience a virtual tour around Greece and its natural beauties, explore its valuable flora and fauna, encounter current environmental challenges and threats, learn about history and local traditions.
The web-board of the game consists of three distinguishable levels, which represent three areas of Greece. Thrace, Cyclades and Attica were deliberately chosen as three completely different areas in terms of their physical and human features and also as three flagship areas of WWF Greece conservation work.
While playing and through the learning process, players gradually develop critical thinking by understanding the consequences of human activities on the environment and discovering ways in which they can contribute and protect it.
The game begins, after an easy and fast registration step that is essential for all players, since this is the only way to save individual scores! All data declared in the aforementioned process, remain personal and safe.
Following the geographical trail each player answers “trivia type” questions, earns points and random tools but most of all it is precious knowledge, considering the human-nature interaction that counts. An additional motivation for all players to dedicate more time and effort is a visible at all times scorecard of the ten highest scores.

The least effort needed, in order to successfully complete each level, is answering correctly six (6) questions in total. Then two (2) options are available, either move on to the next level or stay and score for more on the same level.
Players willing to raise their score, also raise their chances to win digital presents to make their laptop/desktop more attractive and fun! But keep in mind that one’s decision to stay in one level means that all the questions available for every individual station must be then answered.
A rolling wheel sets the beginning and throughout the game, it somehow controls players’ luck, score and route. What actually happens when turning (clicking) the wheel is one of the following:
Try to raise as many points as possible! That’s how your score is getting bigger and thus you win helping tips and useful tools that help you overcome random traps during the game.
What is worth mentioning is that you can re-play each level as many times as you want to improve your total score. Attention! Every time you play, it’s your last attempt score that is automatically saved.
Why not aiming at the top of the ranking!
One question with four possible answers appears each time you stop at an individual station. Only one answer at a time is correct. If you have done your research or you are lucky enough to find it, there’s a chance for another, “bonus” question to appear and thus, an unexpected opportunity to raise your score more! Either way, there are random questions that might also endow you with precious tools, essential to overcome unexpected traps!
In level 1 you are given the chance to find the correct answer three (3) times. If you succeed in that, you win a green flag. In case your answer is wrong once, you get an orange-warning- flag and if you won’t make it at all, a red flag locks the particular station and you lose the chance to try again to conquer this station.
Same rules apply here, but be cautious! Each time you stop at a station, it’s highly possible to fall into a trap! You can break free, using the suitable tool if you have won it in level 1 and have it in your suitcase. Be careful to choose, the right one amongst other available tools or else you will lose your turn and the station you are standing on. The same thing happens if you don’t have the appropriate tool.
In level 2 you are given the chance to find the correct answer two (2) times.
It’s highly possible you might need to open your “tool case”, because traps await hidden in this level too! And even if random traps might hold you back for a short while, raising the score is in your hands in this final level, since you can choose between easy (50 pt) and difficult (100 pt) questions and win double points at a time!
In level 3 you are given the chance to find the correct answer two (2) times.
The helpmate shows up to offer a helping hand, useful tips and guidance to the beginners, explaining how “bonus” questions reward them, how traps can be overcome and how precious some tools are at all levels.
Luminous and clear graphics on the top of the main screen of the game are available at all times, informing players about their score, their available tools and helping tips.
On the left hand the expandable rolling wheel is waiting for you to set the beginning of the game!
Arriving at a station a random question appears and all the available tools and helping tips are activated.
Remember that you start the game with three helping tips which are renewed every time you move to a new level. The correct answer is always marked in green.
